This list of 9 Chilean Design Studios to Watch was curated by our amazing alumna, Tamara Parraguez, a Chilean-born founder of Love & Fear, and features studios and agencies she follows and admires.

Gaggeroworks
Founder – Constanza Gaggero

The studio is run by Constanza Gaggero, a Chilean-born award-winning Creative Director and Design consultant with over 20 years of experience in print, branding and design for the cultural sector. Working from Santiago and London, she collaborates with talented strategists, editors, photographers, animators, illustrators and architects to provide design services and consultancy for clients across South America and the UK – including Tate, The British Museum, V&A, Natural History Museum, Museo de Arte Precolombino and the Chilean government.


Otros Pérez
Founders – Catalina & Jerónimo Pérez

Otros Pérez specialises in strategic communication and visual identity, offering a wide range of services from digital projects to print media. They believe in the power of graphic design to tell compelling stories, whether through branding, packaging, campaigns, presentations, books, naming, and more. The studio collaborates with a diverse array of clients, from startups to large corporations, including theatres, non-governmental organisations, the food and beverage industry, hotels, museums, entrepreneurs, and consultancy firms.

Diez Diez is a Chilean advertising agency committed to inspiring rebellion, responsibility, and honesty in crafting impactful ideas. Believing that creativity is the most effective way to solve problems and seize opportunities, the agency focuses on producing relevant and meaningful campaigns. Based in Santiago, Diez Diez brings together a diverse team of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative and socially conscious advertising solutions.


Latinotype
Founding Partners – Luciano Vergara, Daniel Hernández & Miguel Hernández

Based in Concepción and Santiago, Latinotype specialises in colourful typefaces and underlines their strong connection with their cultural identity. The founders explain, "Our goal is to design new typefaces by remixing diverse influences related to our South American identity with high-quality products for the contemporary design industry." Since founding the studio in 2007, Luciano Vergara and Daniel Hernández have done just that, building one of MyFonts' most successful and fast-growing collections, spanning a wide range of genres.


Save Our Social Media – SOS
Founder – Diego Norambuena

Under the leadership of founder Diego Norambuena, SOS positions itself as a pioneer in ethical marketing, emphasising sustainability and cultural revitalisation in every project. Rather than offering conventional services, SOS crafts brand languages by integrating narrative, visual, digital, and emotional systems. Their approach is structured around five core dimensions: Narrative Architecture, Sensitive Form, Living Systems, Selective Connection, Directed Impact.


CIELO
Founders – Valentina Corral & Tulio Turina

Estudio Cielo is a creative production studio based in Santiago, Chile, founded in 2015 by Valentina Corral and Tulio Turina. With backgrounds in art direction, photography, and executive production, they specialise in crafting visually striking campaigns that blend photography, film, and set design. Their work is characterised by a strong visual narrative and a touch of irreverence, aiming to evoke emotions and connect with audiences. Estudio Cielo has collaborated with prominent brands such as Swatch, Converse, Unilever, Adidas, Pandora, Estée Lauder, Disney, L'Oréal, and Dafiti, establishing itself as a reference in the industry.


Sebastian Studio
Founder – Sebastian Errazuriz

Sebastian Errazuriz Studio, founded by Chilean-born, New York-based artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz, is renowned for its provocative and interdisciplinary approach that blurs the lines between art, design, technology, and activism. Errazuriz's work often challenges perceptions of everyday objects, transforming them into thought-provoking pieces that invite viewers to reconsider their surroundings. Notable projects include the "Wave Cabinet," a kinetic furniture piece, and the "12 Shoes for 12 Lovers" series.


LOVE&FEAR
Founder – Tamara Parraguez

Love & Fear Studio is a creative agency founded by Tamara Parraguez, with bases in Santiago and Barcelona. Specialising in emotional and experiential design, the studio focuses on building "human brands" that foster genuine connections. Their services encompass brand creation and strategy, visual and communication design, and collaborative content development. Emphasising a partnership approach, Love & Fear works closely with clients, involving them in immersive processes to co-create meaningful brand experiences. The studio collaborates with a global network of creatives, including visual artists, designers, filmmakers, and psychologists, to tailor teams that align with each brand's unique journey.


CERIO

Founders – Cristóbal Rioseco & Valentina Cerda

Cerio is a Chilean design studio and retailer based in Santiago, specialising in timeless, locally crafted home objects that blend functionality with artistic expression. Their collections include mirrors, marble accessories, lighting, and furniture — all designed with a focus on simplicity, durability, and lasting beauty. Cerio works closely with Chilean artists and designers such as Matías Prado, Camila Cesani, and Pablo Ropert to create limited-edition pieces that reflect a commitment to sustainable and conscious design. With a philosophy of creating “fewer but more meaningful objects,” Cerio encourages thoughtful consumption and celebrates design that lasts beyond trends.
