Top things to do in London this March

March in London is a flippin’ great month if you ask us. Everything is blooming and blossoming, the temperature is going up, and the sun doesn’t go down until 7:30 pm. 
This makes it a great time to explore the city’s fantastic parks and gardens, world-class museums and galleries, and major cultural goings-on throughout the month.

Clocks change

A helpful reminder that the clocks go forward an hour in the early hours of Sunday 27 March.

Women's history month

Celebrate all women who have fought for their rights to be recognised as well as the achievements of all the amazing, strong, talented women during women’s history month this March. There is no particular programme yet so keep an eye out for special events throughout the month.

Cherry blossoms

Snap away at cherry blossoms and other pretty blooms in London parks and gardens: Stroll through London and capture it at its most beautiful. Some of the most beautiful and instagrammable spots would be: London's biggest botanical garden — Kew Gardens, Greenwich Park, Regent's Park, and Kyoto Garden at Holland Park

Simon McBurney’s legendary theatre company Complicite returns with its first major theatre show since its mind-blowing ‘The Encounter’. ‘Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead’ is a brand new stage version of Nobel Prize-winning Polish writer Olga Tokarczuk’s singular novel, a powerful and compelling mix of noir thriller and righteous eco-manifesto. It’s in no way an easy proposition to bring to the stage – which is kind of the exact point of Complicite.

The Lehman Trilogy

‘The Lehman Trilogy’ returns to the West End in 2023 after success on Broadway in 2022 and hit London runs in 2018 and 2019. It is an epic piece of storytelling about three Jewish immigrants who would come to define America. It has been completely recast, with Michael Balogun, Hadley Fraser and Nigel Lindsay now due to star. So make sure to check it out.

Oklahoma! Westend

Forget what you think it is… this is Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! as you’ve never seen it before – re-orchestrated and reimagined for the 21st century. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival, it recently enjoyed a sold-out run at the Young Vic following sold-out runs in New York and across the U.S. on tour. Oklahoma! tells a story of a community banding together against an outsider and the frontier life that shaped America. It is funny and sexy, provocative and probing, without changing a word of the text. You just can't miss it!
