Bauhaus-inspired posters for the 21st Century

Future London Academy’s design team have created a series of posters inspired by design principles from the iconic Bauhaus art movement. The brief was to imagine what Bauhaus would look like if it was living and breathing in the 21st Century. The Executive School For Creatives believes that a modern-day Bauhaus or ‘Bauhaus 2.0’ if you like, would be working together with businesses to build a better world.

To express this, the design team created dynamic layouts composed of simple geometric shapes paired with aspirational phrases such as ‘Build A Better World’ and ‘Creative Leaders Are Great Business Leaders’. All typeset with their custom typeface, Ony Future, created by Moscow-based Ony Agency, coloured with their bold signature yellow throughout.

For over 8 years, Future London Academy not only has embraced Bauhaus into its design work but also in the way it has educated senior creatives from over 80 countries. They understand the value of design and how it can transform businesses that embrace it wholeheartedly; how we can become better leaders, humans who want to build better products, teams and a better world for all.
